There are faces to this. There are hearts, passions, desires, and beliefs. There are chances to screw up, break, fight, and lose all sight of everything we have built and what we strive to be. Our humanity allows us an excuse to do this. Our God’s grace allows us to find a way through it. We have the opportunity to show a world of young and old that we truly give a damn about the heart of the matter. We are going to save lives. Whether it’s online or the front line, people are going to live.

Alex Collins and I have traveled this country together. We talk and share thoughts, fears, and passions for our lives and the hope that we want people all over this world to have. We’ve had late night chats on sidewalks in places this kid from Georgia never knew he’d be. And he was even there when I had my first drink. I truly love this guy. For me, this picture represents everything we need to fight for here. For us and them. For our supporters and theirs. For the people all over the world whose lives will change. We are in this together.
